You can't conjure up Truth

Found this picture and really liked it. I always wondered what it'd be like to fly, to venture out and see the world from a bird's eye view--with no restraint, soaring without some contraption.

With eyes to see the world as God does... the weight of it all would ring me out like a towel, left to hang and dry. Tears, weeping. Maybe I'd be okay after I dried out.

The misconceptions of God come rolling out as contorted donuts on a conveyor belt, mangled forks in a blender, some heinous recreation of something absolute--a variant to fit one's own form and distortion. We walk in our own shoes, wearing down to the soles, treading in circles with our own thoughts of who God is. Some give up. Some keep circling. Others take off their shoes all together and curse the idea [he conjured up] or the god he was searching for. We become 'static travelers.' We want truth but the endless circles keep us stationary. Thus, the state of the world.

Desperation. Empty vastitude. Desire. Habitual degradation. Chasm. Plethra of emotion. Push and pull; forces colliding. Football spiraling downward; going down with it. Fried cook. Sick doctor. Broken mechanic. Loathing lover. Weeping comedian. Lost leader. Grown child. Regressed man.

Maybe I'd dry out in time, but the rains come, not withholding. Looking out, the pain still remains. As an intercessor my tears fall in good hands; my prayers to the One, the Almighty.

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." Colossians 2:8

Psalm 24
The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it,

the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the waters.

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his sould to an idol
or swear by what is false.
He will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God his Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Lift up your heads, O you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift upyour heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty--
he is the King of glory. Selah.
