Love Rains [reigns]

The storm blew in. Driving home in the darkness, for the lights went out, I nudged the gas and then the break. Even the stop lights blackened; dangerous. Intersections crept up on me. But O how the Angels danced in the sky. The Lord's radiance lit up the overcast canopy.

Love seems to come at the most inconvenient time; it has not come, for now would be convenient as I am content and walking well with the Lord. Thus, it sets in the distance. How far off? I do not know. O lover, do come in time.

A labrynth of emotion deceives. Akeldama* remains if one strays by the wayside, betraying his Lord. Do not lose sight of Him. He leads; allow Him to lead; follow.

Reading in Psalm today, I found much appreciation for the way things were worded, the personification, the metaphors and similies put in place:

Weeping may remain for a night (as a guest) but rejoicing comes in the morning [Ps. 30]
...for evil finds lodging among them...[Ps. 54]
His speech is as smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart. [Ps. 55]

*Field of Blood [Acts 1: 18(With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. 19Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)]
