freedom at the end of the day
The air sits heavy today; a blanket of sorts. Rain awaits and the breeze smells like the coast. My bones long for freedom; it comes in time. Deep breath, I flee to the fields where the yellow grass grows knee-high. The days drag on; only the Lord's joy sustains. Light at the end of the tunnel so they say; there's always been light, I say. He lives. Hallelujah, He lives. Fields look as a sea of yellow; brillance. Frangrance so sweet. A fight between flesh and Spirit. My heart bleeds for the Life. Indeed, I live; indeed, He lives in me. Freedom reigns through my day. My bones, weary, cry out in sorrow and praise. Adonai! My God!
